What is Fawe?

The Fawe method is rooted in multidisciplinary discovery practices; yoga modalities, pilates functional sequences, animalistic flow, primal fitness, mindfulness, somatic practices, dance cardio, nature therapy, sound work, breath work and meditation. 

 

Together, we explore reaching our physical edge, challenge our inner resistance and use movement to disentangle ourselves from the distracted mind.

 

For it is only when we give ourselves permission to take this time; that we can unlock parts of our being that have been made to feel small, celebrate everything that make us unique and deepen our connection to self.

Embrace the element of Air and experience a sense of weightlessness and freedom. Engage in fluid and graceful movements that evoke the sensation of floating on a gentle breeze. Explore the expansiveness of your body, incorporating jumps and flowing gestures, and discover the joy of moving with effortless grace and lightness.

Water

Immerse yourself in the fluidity and serenity of Water. Flow seamlessly through movements that mimic the gentle yet powerful currents. Embrace the graceful transitions and find harmony between strength and flexibility. Earth

Connect with the grounding element of Earth and cultivate a strong foundation. Root yourself in the present moment as you explore movements that bring stability and solidity. Music

Sound

Exhaling sound can be a revitalising and non verbal way to move energy, release stresses and clear space for clarity. In our signature Fawe workshops we encourage and welcome you to unleash a primal roar, let out a loud exhale and release any sounds that want to come out during the movement sequences. ⁠
